Since 1998 the Institute has continued to produce a series of publications dedicated to the proceedings of the Round Table on current issues of international humanitarian law.

Rules of engagement

Gender Perspectives
The Handbook on “Integrating Gender Perspectives into International Operations” – the Sanremo Handbook on Gender – represents the concrete contribution of the Sanremo Institute to the promotion of gender perspectives with regard to the protection of specific groups of vulnerable individuals in conflict areas.
Newsletters
Since 2000 the Institute publishes and distributes a newsletter every three months which periodically inform Members, former participants and the IIHL Sanremo community about activities, events and projects organised in Sanremo and in other part of the world.

Integración de la perspectiva de género en operaciones de la fuerza pública
Se trata de una obra tendiente a extender la incorporación de la perspectiva de género a operaciones militares, policiales o civiles desarrolladas en contextos de conflictos armados internos o no internacionales (CANI), otras situaciones de violencia (OSV) o postconflicto (POC), contextos comunes en la región latinoamericana.

Esta obra es el producto final del Proyecto “Mujeres y seguridad: ejercer sus derechos como agentes de cambio”; esta atiende a dos objetivos fundamentales: fortalecer la capacidad de las mujeres para actuar a fin de prevenir la afectación de sus derechos y proporcionar herramientas útilas a los miembros de la fuerza pública, a fin de que en sus operaciones incorporen la perspectiva de género.
