On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Institute, the
President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mr. Francesco Rocca, paid tribute to the commitments and the “efforts undertaken by the Institute in recent years to develop international law tools and provide training for civil society, armed forces and international organisations on a variety of topics”.
The President of the IFRC also highlighted how “investing in training is essential and contributes to enhancing preparedness, protection and culture”, in this way honoring the contribution of the Institute and renewing the support of IFRC to the Institute’s activities.
